The Gospel According to John for Birmingham
We have embarked on the next phase of procuring funds for the Gospel of John Project. We will be sending a complete copy of this Gospel to the following zip codes: 35205, 35213, 35209, and 35223, as soon as we have received all necessary funds. Please be in prayer about what the Lord would have you to give towards this ongoing project.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name” (John 20:31).
Purpose: We want to make Jesus Christ known in the city of Birmingham. One part of accomplishing this is to send a copy of The Gospel According to John––excerpted from the Bible, God's Word––to every home. It is our hope that many hurting homes and broken lives will be helped by the message of this incredible book. The promise of Scripture is that the Word of God "shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). It is with this in mind that we send this "good news" into the heart of our city to reach the hearts of men, women and children in these homes to which they are sent.
Scope: When the Lord spoke to the Apostle Paul in a vision, He told him to continue preaching the gospel in the city of Corinth since God intended to save “many people in this city” (Acts 18:10).
The Gospel According to John Project will place a printed copy of the Scriptures into approximately 40,000 homes in the Birmingham area. These addresses are located in four zip code areas. We have previously sent this same booklet to approximately 27,000 homes in three other zip code areas.

Cost: The cost to print and ship each Gospel of John booklet is about 50 cents.
$20,000 is needed to send a booklet to each of the 40,000 addresses we plan to cover.
Goal: All funds must be procured before the booklets are printed and sent. Our prayer is that we will have all funds in hand as soon as possible.
